‘Nothing Is Special About Ghana’- Falcons Coach Omagbemi Says Ahead Of Crucial Match Today!
Coach Florence Omagbemi says her side is having no special preparation to confront Ghana in their African Women’s Cup of Nations group clash on Wednesday.
Omagbemi who spoke after Monday training at the Molyko Stadium in Buea insists her side will take on their west African rivals like any other team in their bid to defend their title.
“We are happy, we won the first game against Mali and we are trying to refocus our game plans and mindset,” Omagbemi told media.“We are playing Ghana in our next, the communication with the group is that we are done with Mali and we have started preparing for Ghana.“Every coach has their own style of controlling the team, that is the mindset of the Ghanaian coach.“All the teams in Cameroon are here to compete for the title, and if the coach says they want to compete with Nigeria its fine.“We are here to defend our trophy, we will take on them on the match day. We are taking on Ghana like every other team in the championship and we will approach the game with our plans.“The rivalry is not our problems but the game, I don’t want to focus on the distraction off the field but the game and my team.”
