Beach Soccer: Nigeria qualifies for World Cup after win over Morocco

Photo credit: Copa LagosThe Nigeria Beach Soccer team, the Super Sand Eagles, have qualified for the World Cup after they thrashed their North African opponents, Morocco, on Saturday in the semi-finals of the ongoing Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations.
The Super Sand Eagles beat Morocco 6-1 to set up a final clash with Senegal who beat Egypt in the other semi final clash.
The Senegalese beat Egypt 5-2 to become the first African team to qualify for the world cup before the Nigerian team followed suit.
Nigeria and Senegal will now faceoff in Sunday’s final clash to know the new African champions.
