Man Loses Large Part Of His Skull After Brutal Beating From Gang Members. Photos

A savage attack which left a man with a large part of his skull missing also cost the victim his home, job and family. Loong Jamlong was attacked by a group of men who repeatedly stamped on his head and left him for dead near his home in Bangkok in Thailand.
The 46-year-old has spent the last two years recovering from the brutal beating. He suffered irreversible damage to his nervous system and can no longer walk or use his left arm.
Loong stoically stated when recalling the horrific incident: 'I got into a fight. Men attacked me. They beat me in the head.

'It was two years ago. But I'm fine.'

He now sleeps in a wooden hut in the Thai capital's slums, and drinks water from the city's Chao Praya river.
He scavenges for food, and was discovered by volunteers sleeping on a stinking mattress riddled with snakes.

Members of Bangkok's Community Rescue Foundation are trying to help him receive government support, and track down former employers who might be able to help him.
