The long awaited Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus were finally unveiled by Samsung yesterday, an event which was also streamed live on YouTube to the world. The Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are Samsung’s flagship smartphones and comes with a lot of features which justifies the premium quality of both devices. The flagships are the first mobile phone ever to come with Bluetooth 5.0, Bluetooth 5.0 offers a wide connection range and twice as much speed transfer to Bluetooth 4.2 making the devices even more appealing. Other Features include Samsung’s own AI named Bixby, Iris scanner, Fingerprint sensor amonst many others.

The S8 has a 5.8 Super AMOLED Quad HD+ display at a 2960*1440 resolution with a PPI density of 570, while the S8 plus 6.2” Super AMOLED Quad HD+ display at a 2960*1440 resolution with a PPI density of 529. Both smartphones are based on the Infinity Display technology which enables an expanded screen size without having a larger phone

Both devices run on Android 7.0 Nougat and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835/Samsung Exynos 8895 processors depending on the carrier. S8 has a 4GB RAM, while S8 Plus has 6GB RAM. Both has a 64GB internal memory which is expandable up to 256GB via the MicroSD card slot.
