How to Check WAEC Result 2017 May/June

• Visits authorized dealers, banks or post office closet to you to buy a scratch card. See the list of authorized banks here.
• Open WAEC Result checking portal at waecdirect.org
• Enter your 10-digit examination number and choose 2017 as Examination year.
• Select Examination type, for example – School Candidates results or Private Candidates results.
• Enter your scratch card Serial number and PIN.
• Click on Submit and wait for your result to come up.
• You can now print out if you want.

How to Check WAEC Result 2017 May/June via SMS

• Open your SMS and type WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear
• Send to 32327
• It works for MTN, Airtel and Glo subscribers.
• SMS costs N30 only to check result.

Important Statistics to Know About WAEC Result 2017

• 214,952 candidates cheated in the Exam; that is massive!
• 94% of all candidates passed at least six subjects with credits and above.
• 05% of all candidates passed at least four subjects with credits and above.
• 44% of all candidates passed at least three subjects with credits and higher.
• 59% of all candidates passed at least two subjects with credits and higher.
• In total, 1,559,162 candidates sat for the exams
