Mesut Ozil misses Arsenal’s clash with Crystal Palace through illness
Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has been left out of the Gunners’ matchday squad to play Crystal Palace at the Emirates today because he is suffering an illness.
The German’s been in good form for the Gunners this term, scoring nine times.
The 28-year-old’s featured in all-but-one of Arsenal’s league matches this season but illness means he has been completely ommitted from Arsene Wenger’s squad today.
The Frenchman will be hoping Ozil can recover in time before Arsenal travel to the Vitality Stadium to take on Bournemouth in 48 hours time.
